PRECAUTIONS TO BE OBSERVED BEFORE AND DURING SERVICING TO AVOID POSSIBLE EXPOSURE TO EXCESSIVE MICROWAVE ENERGY
(a) Do not operate or allow the oven to be operated w ith the door open. (b) M ake the following safety checks on all ovens to be serviced before activating the m agnetron or other m icrowave source, and m ake repairs as necessary: (1) Interlock operation, (2) Proper door closing, (3) Seal and sealing surfaces (arcing, wear, and other dam age), (4) Dam age to or loosening of hinges and latches, (5) Evidence of dropping or abuse. (c) B efore turning on power to the m icrow ave oven for any service test or inspection within the m icrowave generating com partm ents, check the m agnetron, wave guide or transm ission line, and cavity for proper alignm ent, integrity, and connections. (d) Any defective or m isadjusted com ponents in the interlock, m onitor, door seal, and m icrowave generation and transm ission system s shall be repaired, replaced, or adjusted by procedures described in this m anual before the oven is released to the owner. [. . . ] Various clicking nois es m ay be heard w hen turning the tim er to the desired tim e. W hen the tim er reaches zero, a bell w ill ring and the unit w ill operation of your m icrow ave oven. D o not operate w ithout cabinet.
CAUTION
S ervice personnel should rem ove their w atches w henever w orking close to or replacing the m agnetron.
WARNING
W hen servicing the appliance, take a care w hen touching or replacing high potential parts because of electrical shock or exposing m icrow ave. These parts are as follow s - H V Transform er, M agnetron, H V C apacitor, H V D iode. To rem ove door assem bly 1) R em ove a screw w hich secure the stopper hinge top. 3) R everse the above for reassem bly.
NOTE
A fter replacing the door assem bly, perform a check of correct alignm ent w ith the hinge and cavity front plate.

gasket door from door plate. M ethod to reduce the gap betw een the door seal and the oven front surface 1) To reduce gap located on part `A'. Loosen a screw on stopper hinge top, and then push the door to contact the door seal to oven front surface. Loosen tw o screw s on stopper hinge under, and then push the door to contact the door seal to oven front surface. Tighten two screw s.
NOTE
A sm all gap m ay be acceptable if the m icrow ave leakage does not exceed 4m W /cm 2 .

DISASSEMBLY AND ASSEMBLY
1) R em ove the screw which secure the control panel, push up tw o snap fits and draw forw ard the control panel assem bly. 8) P ull out the V. P. C coupler, V. P. C knob and flat spring from the control panel. 9) R em ove the door open button and button spring from the control panel. To rem ove high voltage capacitor 1) R em ove a screw w hich secure the grounding ring term inal of the H . V. diode and the capacitor holder. 3) R everse the above steps for reassem bly.

7. To rem ove m agnetron 1) R em ove a screw w hich secure the m agnetron. 3) R everse the above steps for reassem bly.

NOTE
N ever install the m agnetron w ithout the m etallic gasket plate w hich is packed with each m agnetron to prevent m icrow ave leakage. W henever repair w ork is carried out on m agnetron, check the m icrow ave leakage. It shall not exceed 4m W /cm 2 for a fully assem bled oven w ith door norm ally closed.
8. To rem ove H . V. transform er 1) R em ove four screw s holding the H . V. 3) R everse the above steps for reassem bly.
INTERLOCK MECHANISM AND ADJUSTMENT
The door lock m echanism is a device w hich has been specially designed to com pletely elim inate m icrow ave radiation w hen the door is opened during operation, and thus to perfectly prevent the danger resulting from the leakage of m icrow ave. 3. COMPONENT TEST PROCEDURE
H igh voltage is present at the high voltage term inal of the high voltage transform er during any cooking cycle. It is neither necessary nor advisable to attem pt m easurem ent of the high voltage. B efore touching any oven com ponents or w iring, alw ays unplug the oven from its pow er source and discharge the capacitor. [. . . ]
