This agentless monitor pack lets you monitor the availability and performance on the Windows 2003/2008 servers including availability, disk, memory, network, and processor. The agentless monitor policy lets you monitor computers without the Monitor Agent installed. Because the Monitor Agent is not available, fewer aspects of the computers are available to be monitored.

About Virtual Machine Management
Virtual Machine Management is a component of the Server Management Suite that lets you perform the virtualization process on your network. Virtualization is a technology that lets you make optimum use of the hardware resources of your organization. You can create virtual environments of servers, storage devices, and network resources on a single physical server. Each virtual environment is isolated and functions independently from the physical server and from the other virtual environments. Virtualization enhances the efficiency and productivity of the hardware resources and helps to reduce administrative costs. The Virtual Machine Management component includes three types of virtualization:

Introducing Virtual Machine Management About server virtualization technique
Storage Virtualization Network Virtualization.
The Virtual Machine Management component supports Hyper-V and VMware platforms. The Hyper-V from Microsoft and the ESX family from VMware let you create and manage virtual machines, disks, and networks. These platforms support all features of the virtualization.
About server virtualization technique
The Virtual Machine Management component uses the server virtualization technique. Server virtualization lets you divide one physical server into multiple virtual environments. The virtual environments are called virtual servers, guest servers, or emulations. The virtual servers share the hardware resources of one physical server. The physical server is called the host and the virtual server is called the guest. Server virtualization can be attained with following three methods: virtual machines, paravirtualization, and operating system virtualization. The Virtual Machine Management component uses the virtual machine method. Server virtualization with the virtual machine method lets you create virtual machines on the host machine. All the virtual machines have their own operating system, disk storage, and network resources that are independent of the host operating system. To use the virtual machine method of the virtualization, you must install the virtual machine monitor software on your server. You can install the hypervisor on the operating system or on the hardware of your server. [. . . ] The snapshots are stored in the Configuration Management Database (CMDB). See "Reverting a snapshot" on page 62.

Creating a snapshot
You can take the snapshot of a virtual machine any time. If you keep changing the configurations of the virtual machines very frequently, you can take the snapshots of individual configurations and save them. To create a snapshot
