The safety concept can work only if the device is in a faultless condition. [. . . ] > Press the CD lightly downwards until it locks firmly onto the arbor. Susequently the display e shows the number of CD titles and its total playing time. The display shows you the number of the titles played back as well as the elapsed title play time. playback stop/resume > During playback press the button 4; PLAY/PAUSE u and/or 5$ to stop playback. When the CD playback is stopped the time indicator in the display blinks. Search forward and backward You can activate a search to look for specific passages within a title. > For this, during playback, hold down the button : SKIP/ TUNING 2@ and/or 4$ and/or the button SKIP/TUNING 9 1( and/or 5^ until the desired position in the title is reached. ESP-Function The anti shock system "ESP" (electronic shock protection) ensures that during a shock or vibration playback is maintained without interuption. In the display on the right the ESP indicator now blinks until the data storage is fully loaded. Search forward and backward You can activate a search to look for specific passages within an MP3 title. > For this, during playback, hold down the button : SKIP/ TUNING 2@ and/or 4$ and/or the button SKIP/TUNING 9 1( and/or 5^ until the desired position in the title is reached. The MP3 search function In the search mode you can look for a title or folder on your MP3 CD by the file name. You can conduct the search using the first letter (AÂZ) or with the numbers (0Â9). File search by title name > Place a CD with MP3 files into the CD tray. > Select with the FUNCTION button 2$ and/or 4& the CD function. > To start the search mode press once the button FIND/ESP/ MONO/ST. In the display e a magnifying glass blinks and the first file name with the letter A is shown. If there is no file name beginning with "A", the display will show "A-NONE". > Press the button : SKIP/TUNING 2@ and/or 4$ or the button SKIP/TUNING 9 1( and/or 5^ until in the display e the desired start letter or the number is shown. If the MP3 CD contains files, the name of which begins with the respectively selected letter, this MP3 title is shown in the display. > To playback this title press the button 4; PLAY/PAUSE u and/or 5$. > When several file names begin with the same letter hold down the button : SKIP/TUNING 2@ and/or 4$ or the button SKIP/TUNING 9 1( and/or 5^ for two seconds. [. . . ] each time the button is pressed the switch-off time is reduced by ten minutes. > When the desired switch off time appears in the display e wait a few seconds until the normal display indicator appears again. The sleep function is now activated and will turn off the micro system after the selected time. Cleaning the housing: > Remove the power plug from the power socket beforehand. [. . . ]
