Please read this operation manual to familiarize yourself with the camcorder's features, so that you will get the most out of it. [. . . ] The adjustment range is 7 steps from 0dB (lowest sensitivity) to L18dB (highest sensitivity). Note: If you select a large gain value, the image may appear grainy.

You can set the camcorder to a shooting mode that will create the best results for a specific situation. The camcorder will automatically set the exposure, white balance, and shutter speed to produce the optimum picture quality for the selected situation.
Types
SPORT (A): When you want to record a fast-moving subject. DUSK (B): When you want to faithfully record the red of the setting sun, and the surrounding twilight. NIGHT LUMI (D): When you want to record fireworks or an illuminated object in the dark. (E): When you want to record an object in a dim place and make it emerge brightly.

Press l or m to select the scene setting that best fits the recording situation, then press the center of the Operation button.

Using the Time Code

Press the DISPLAY button to turn off the menu screen.
· The time code appears when the onscreen indicators are turned on.

The time code shows the hour, minute and second of recording, and the frame number (1 frame = approx. This is automatically recorded along with the subject when you are recording on the tape. You can display the time code on the screen as an accurate counter in both Tape Playback and Tape Camera modes.

Notes: · When the tape reaches an unrecorded section, the time code returns to zero (TC0:00:00). · You can also press the T/C button on the remote control to display the time code.

Sugerencias sobre las posiciones de grabación
Para crear imágenes que puedan verse fácilmente durante la reproducción, intente grabar con una postura estable y apoyando bien la videocámara, para impedir la sacudida de las imágenes.

Pase su mando derecha a través de la correa para la mano, y ponga su mano izquierda debajo de la videocámara para apoyarla.

Filmación desde un ángulo alto
Gire el monitor LCD para que la pantalla quede hacia abajo.
Apoye firmemente el ocular del visor contra su ojo.
Coloque sus codos contra sus costados.
Filmación desde un ángulo bajo
Balancee su peso en ambas piernas.
Gire el monitor LCD para que la pantalla quede hacia arriba.
Nota: · Tenga cuidado para no tocar el micrófono con sus dedos durante la grabación. Además, tenga cuidado de no tocar el flash ni el sensor del flash con sus dedos mientras graba con la tarjeta.
