SPECIFICATIONS . When using electric gardening tools, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and personal injury, including the following. GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS This tool should be grounded while in use to reduce the risk of electric shock to the operator. Before further use of the tool, a guard or other part that is damaged should be carefully checked to determine that it will operate properly and perform its intended function. Check for alignment of moving parts, binding of moving parts, breakage of parts, mounting, and any other condition that may affect its operation. A guard or other part that is damaged should be properly repaired or replaced by an authorized service center unless indicated elsewhere in this manual. The power supply cable should be checked regularly and before using it each time make sure the cable is not damaged or old out. Keep it away from the cutting area, from damp, wet or oily surfaces or with sharp edges and away from heat and fuels. Avoid unintentional starting, don’t carry plugged in hedge trimmer with fingers on both switchs. [. . . ] Use the trimmer only for cutting normal shrubbery found around houses and buildings. To obtain exceptionally level hedges, a piece of string can be stretched along the length of the hedge as a guide. 2) To turn the tool ON, squeeze the both triggers on bail handle and body handle with your fingers at same time.
