ENGINE
The smaller the engine, the more important the power. And the 125 EXC's power unit certainly draws extreme power from the cylinder. Power-packed with playful handling, this bike is practically unbeatable in its class.
CLUTCH
A mere pipe dream for others is standard at KTM: a hydraulic clutch for guaranteed perfect control and a precise pressure point at all times. Also designed for hard off-road action (and part of the top racing equipment on the 200 EXC) is the FLEX clutch lever that can be folded away 90° to the front.
GEARBOX
A smaller engine demands a special gearbox designed for extreme loading conditions. [. . . ] An extremely agile, light-weight orld muscleman that is a great success in the small class not only in the world championships.

TANK | AIR FLOW SYSTEM
Adapted to Enduro requirements and ergonomically ideal: a perfectly designed fuel tank that guarantees optimum contact with the bike. Also, hidden under the spoilers are the KTM AIRFLOW system channels that amply supply the air box with fresh air.

TANK CAP
A bayonet fitting with an additional lock to prevent accidental twisting makes its practically impossible to open the cap by mistake. A secure seal is guaranteed!
TRUE POWER.
The KTM engineers have left nothing to chance with the high-tech four-stroke for the new world championship season. The tried-and-tested ted champion engine has been substantially improved and impresses through ugh a power level unsurpassed by any in its class. With its additional technological innovations, the strong heart of the 250 EXC-F is once again set for repeated Enduro success in 2010.

The most extreme loading conditions require the perfect material. Even harder piston rings increase the d durability and reduce the servicing requirement for this enormously powerful four-stroke.

VALVE TRAIN
Ultralight titanium valves and DLC-coated cam follower provide minimum moving masses, maximum valve lift and unbeatable durability. The optimised decompressor system guarantees a perfect start performance.

OIL CIRCUIT
To protect the sensitive performance elements from damaging clutch and gearwheel abrasion, two separate oil circuits have been installed one for the combustion tract and one for the gearbox. Furthermore, a redesigned hydraulic chain tensioner with new runners provides even smoother engine operation.
IGNITION
The KTM developers have further optimised the ignition curve for the EXC 530. In conjunction with the new camshaft, it was therefore possible to substantially improve the rideability even in the lower speed ranges.
CYLINDER HEAD
