[. . . ] PRODUCT SHEET Product: Segment : Division: Tactical Power Supply Unit TPS R Defense Security Communication TPS R enableS mobile communicaTion The Ascom Tactical Power Supply Unit TPS R enables the uninterruptable and emission free supply of communication equipment in vehicles, remote stations and containers. The Tactical Power Supply Unit TPS R provides electrical power for communication equipment with 24VDC nominal voltage. It is optimized for operation of sensitive radio receivers and gets supplied by different sources such as AC mains, generator or vehicle power. [. . . ] Stationary Operation The TPS R is supplied by a 230VAC source such as AC mains or a generator and ­ if existing ­ is supported by the system battery. Charging of Vehicle Battery If the vehicle battery is connected to 9 [System Accu] the vehicle battery is charged. Housing, Cooling, Ventilation The Supply Unit TPS R is available in a 19'' housing. If required, external ventilation of the cooling element can be achieved through an optional external fan. Cables connected to TPS R do not require shielding.
